Terms of Service

1. What IRL is
IRL Meet ("IRL", "we") is a platonic, in-person hangout platform. We connect verified members with verified companions for activities like dinners, events, trips, and conversation. We are not a dating app and not an escort service. Romantic, sexual, or commercial-intimacy interactions are strictly prohibited.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. ID verification via Stripe Identity is mandatory for all bookings and listings.
3. Memberships & billing
Paid tiers (IRL Lite, IRL+, IRL Premium) renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the Account page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges.
4. Bookings
Bookings are coordinated through the platform but payment for the companion's time is handled directly between you and the companion at the meet-up. IRL never adds a service fee on hangouts and is not party to the payment.
5. Conduct
Harassment, off-platform contact requests, sexual content, impersonation, or attempts to monetise relationships outside the platform will result in immediate, permanent removal. We cooperate with law enforcement where required.
6. Safety
First meet-ups are always at a public venue. The Safety screen provides a one-tap 112 dial with live location share. Use it. IRL provides infrastructure but cannot guarantee anyone's behaviour off-platform.
7. Merch & digital goods
Physical merch is sold via Stripe and currently ships on a pre-order basis with dates shown at checkout. Digital products (city guides) are delivered by email after payment.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, IRL is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or interactions with other users.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
